I built this back in 1995, as a freelance animator working for a content-production studio in Berkeley [Shadow And Light Productions].
It required testing & creating accurate bump (amplitude) maps in Photoshop's rare "CyberMesh" plugin, which allowed a hi-quality mesh to be generated & export/imported into 3dsMax on a PC.
This was rare for J.Knoll & his Photoshop team to build an advanced 3d-geometry (mesh) modeling-tool in P'shop in those days --it was a powerful plugin perhaps a decade ahead of it's time.
