Adobe helps college kids avoid social media moms, dirty roommates in new campaign from Pereira & O’Dell

Adobe Creative Cloud gives students the tools to succeed in the classroom, in their career and now… life. In a new video campaign titled “Creative Cloud VS...” Adobe gives a sneak peek into the lives of three roommates who utilize Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign to evade a parent on social media, design a custom tattoo, and tackle a messy roommate.

The campaign was created by advertising agency Pereira & O’Dell in San Francisco who also formulated the new strapline “The Future is Yours. Make it.”

The work is a fresh take on the tutorials which Adobe clients know and love as Adobe tools are incorporated into the narrative, spinning funny stories out of daily circumstances.

Episodes include:

“How to Mom-Proof Your Social Media” – A roommate’s mom just started following him on social media. Using Photoshop, he devises a plan to keep her happy and to keep his sanity.

“Creative Cloud vs. the Ultimate Tattoo” – Using Illustrator, the roommates discover creative similarities on a custom-designed tattoo.

“How to get your Roomie to Stop Being Messy” – Adobe shows how you can literally give your roommate a sign that he needs to clean up his act. Using Adobe InDesign.https://futureisyours.adobe.com as well as social media supported by digital ads.
