The New York School Posters
1. I chose to have a Norman Bates as my character, a knife dripping blood for my symbol, and the infamous shower scene from Psycho for the most iconic moment.
2. I used basic shapes and tracing techniques to make many of my designs. Additionally, I only used a relatively small color scheme, depending on the mood I was trying to depict.
3. I integrated a texture into the background of the second poster, making it seem like it was made of wallpaper. In the third poster, I used gradients twice, once for the shower curtain and the other in the background. The background is suppose to make the image look as if someone was shining a flashlight on the bathtub.
