I’ve always been passionate about illustration but my biggest movement forward in terms of my style and drive has been taking the leap to studying graphic design. Not only has my style matured, but also my tastes and appreciation for the design world. I cannot get enough of it.
Whilst studying I became very interested in the process known as screen printing. I always assumed it was a hard, difficult and messy process (some times it is!). After a realisation that it was not I got quickly obsessed with exploring this medium. I made some space in my studio/bedroom, spent just about a months worth of youth/welfare allowance and set up my own little screen printing studio.
Earlier in the year a few of my T-shirt designs on Society 6 sold and I got a very positive reaction to the shirts from my followers. This, plus my new obsession with screen printing prompt me to explore designing and selling my own designs on my own t-shirts. Crystal Flight was born!
