I had a rare opportunity to work within Microsoft's premier incubation studio focused on new and emerging technology. Working exclusively on tented projects not even known within Microsoft, Foundry’s mission is to invent and define transformative solutions on next-generation platforms and devices.

As the motion/interaction designer, I worked with product designers, user researchers and developers to create prototypes, demos, and user experiences that align teams across Microsoft.

My first assignment was a set of videos for a presentation to Bill Gates. These vignettes were a crucial part of securing millions in funding for a next-gen hardware platform. The videos demonstrated device capabilities and painted a vision for its application in the enterprise world. Leadership was so impressed with the presentation that they not only awarded the capital but also increased budgets for further development of the program.
