Typographic Calendar

This was a collaborative project I completed as a senior in college. Although not solely responsible for any one element, I actively participated in every part of the project from start to finish.

My group chose to create a typographic calendar with a seasonal theme. The colors and shapes are abstract depictions of nature in the different times of year, and the haikus on each piece offer more concrete descriptions. Each three-month section features a single season, and the sections form perfect circles when placed side-by-side, symbolizing the unending cycle of change.

The calendar was constructed out of three sheets of plexiglass, held together by standoff screws in each corner. The graphics were printed on frosted mylar, which was then adheared to the front of each pane of plexiglass.
