METSÄ BOARD
BRAND IMAGERY
BACKGROUND
Metsä Board is a leading European producer of premium paperboards including folding boxboards, food service boards and white kraftliners. The produce paperboards based on pure fresh fibres are developed as the perfect fit for consumer goods, retail-ready and
food service packaging.
To present the broad array of material products. A set of brand driven images were needed to define the product categories, as well as suggestive usage areas.
The new images and graphic vector visual language could be flexibly applied to sample books through to other promotional materials.
CREATIVE SOLUTION
Using the varied thickness and qualities of packaging board within their category specific materials. Colour coded layered board illustrations using angular shapes, which are reflective of the Metsä ‘Moosehead’ logo and to broaden the visuality of the brand.
To create the image, each piece was meticulously cut out, layered into position and photographed.
The images were used in product sample books and other brand promotional materials. Additional scalable graphic elements were created to apply to sample packaging prototypes.
EXECUTION
