Environmental Art
My art practice aims to address environmental issues through the use of natural materials, found objects and clay in both its unfired and firedform. Through the creation of visual textures that reference the organic nature of the natural world it is hoped the viewer becomes engaged in a visual dialogue with the artwork thereby triggering a reinvigoration of humanitys innate interdependence on the environment.

I view clay asbeing the 'skin of the Earth' and consider it to be the most appropriate, andthe most expressive medium capable of capturing the essence of thevulnerability of the environment.
