Technology Trepidation is my BFA Capstone project reflecting cumulative knowledge in visual communication design. This semester long project is a motion graphic explaining the increasing vulnerabilities our TV’s, cars, phones & appliances face using technologies such as RFID technology, ATM skimmers, and GPS.
I feel this project is a crucial topic for discussion as it affects everyone who is remotely urbanized. We are all familiar with the idea of hacker's trying to crack our computer, but today or TV's, cars, phones, and appliances are becoming increasingly vulnerable. From stealing credit card information to getting your car jacked; no one is immune.
My goal is to have the viewer take away a greater understanding of the technological hazards that face them and what next steps to take in order to protect themselves.
