Day, noun. is an exhibit that started with a simple project. Every day I wrote down everything that I did in a spiral notebook. After making xerox copies of this endless list and studying all of my activity, I realized that I was wasting my days away doing...nothing.

This exhibit was inspired by the events of my day, the handwriting I wrote these events in, and this quote:

Day, noun. A period of twenty-four hours, mostly misspent.

I composed twenty-four minutes of music to drive the show along. Each minute of music represented one hour of the day, and each minute was filled with the sounds you would hear in that hour of the day.

Twenty-four minutes of lights that mimicked the light in the sky each hour of the day were projected onto this hour glass which hung from the ceiling and spun to represent the passing of time.
