Optrex® rebrand 2018.

Optrex® Brand Identity redesign.

Crookes Healthcare is a healthcare manufacturer based in Nottingham, UK.
The name comes from Sir William Crookes a chemist. Crookes Collosols,
started by Henry Crookes (son of William Crookes),
was formed on 29 March 1912. British Colloids Ltd, formed in December 1918.

The Project - to create a new and refreshed look for the Optrex® brand.
With its pop-smooth surfaces & familiar feel, the original Optrex® logo has been
tried-and-tested through many market cycles, but with brand culture moving
forward, the project became one of updating and simplifying.

Parts of the original logo are used in the update with the ‘e’ & ‘x’ crossover and
the bottom curve of the original oval re-issued as a relaxed, closed eyelid.

The original colour blue is, of course, as entrenched in the brand of Optrex®
as it’s logo, and accordingly, the colour was re-issued.

The updated packaging for Optrex® is a collection of matte, fibrous card
to soften the look and feel of the packaging.

The online & digital Optrex® rebrand followed suit in simplicity, while
incorporating key colour additions and key visuals.
