Iam interested in the expansion and transformation of our city landscapes.
In2007 urban populations exceeded rural ones.
Duringmy residency in Casablanca last September I became aware of the rapid expansionof the commercial developments around the city.

Thisshort video was shot during the evening Adhan (Call to Prayer) on the rooftopsof the Old Medina trading hub. Itstands as a panoramic document of a mosaic like ancient skyline, with themodern city promising to swallow it’s old means of commerce.


Thiswork was created in response to the ‘And’Art Casablanca 2012’ program ran byTerre Sans Frontiere.
