Net Conversion "Holiday Things" Playing Card Deck
Net Conversion, an Orlando-based marketing and analytics company, were getting ready for their Stranger Things-themed company holiday party, "Holiday Things". As a party favor, playing cards were created to go along with the theme.
Inspired by the show, the card layouts were made to reflect the Upside Down world. In the show, the Upside Down is an alternate dimension existing parallel to the human world. This is represented with the outlined type vs the filled-in type.
In place of spades, hearts, diamonds and clubs, there are holiday-themed icons, pine trees and snowflakes, as well as icons related to the show, waffles and a killer baseball bat. An instructional card was made to help distinguish which is which.
The joker cards are illustrations of Net Conversion's co-founders styled as characters from the show, Eleven, waffle-fan and Steve Harrington, bat-wielder. Again - the Upside Down theme comes into play with these illustrations with one, in the human world, paralleled with the other, in the dark upside down world.
