From Coercion to Justice

APT | From Coercion to Justice

Research commissioned by the Association for the Prevention of Torture shows that detention standards and safeguards are the most effective way to protect people in the early hours of detention, when they face the greatest risk of torture and ill-treatment.

The APT commissioned us to create an animation to explain that safeguards in the first hours of police custody can prevent torture and convince States of the need for a universal protocol based on non-coercive interviews.
