This painting has one I have struggled with the most. The first picture is the first painting I did on this canvas, I painted it how I painted all my other paintings, but there was something about it that just wasn't working. The images seemed to be lost and not as well placed within the spiral, so they seemed too free-floating. So I changed the composition completely, using 3 spirals, which is something I have never done before and didn't add any extra images, only using the guide lines of the spirals, adding in smaller more graphic shapes later on. I feel i'm still not 100% happy with this painting, but as I added more, I felt like I was over complicating the painting, and making it look too graphic with the added lines and shapes.
