NOISE x BOD: 52 Tales - The Heartlands

"With a burgeoning population and limited land, almost 80% of Singaporeans live in high-rise public housing known as HDB blocks. Said to emulate the villages of the past, common corridors, void decks and playgrounds at ground level serve as communal meeting places for neighbours to have a quick chat, children to play and retirees to hang out together. Inspired by the Polly Pocket miniature dolls, the illustration shows a whimsical take on the heartlands whilst focusing on the spaces that residents interact with on a daily basis."
