{IN}discre(te)/(et) Spaces
An architectural proposition of kinetic architecture and alignment through movement of solids
In my proposition, I not only focused on how an occupant can experience these moving solids but also how the structure and site start becoming one to show more hidden chambers which can be accessed and experienced. In the beginning the occupant  feels like they are in complete control of the space but with each piece that they move they in turn redefine the path that they take and slowly get lost in the labyrinth created by the (in)discreet and (in)discrete spaces formed. Here discreet means secret or hidden which become indiscreet through moving the pieces. On the other hand, discrete means individual or separate which refers to certain parts of the proposition which become indiscrete when the pieces are moved from on part of the model to another. Thus as they keep moving further to reveal discreet spaces which become indiscrete the occupant begins to experience decreasing confidence as the confidential parts of the model start decreasing at the same time. The site in itself has parts which help to lose the line of distinction between the structure itself. It also has certain planes which can only be accessed by moving specific pieces in specific ways and thus has the potential to create multiples ways in which the occupant can experience parts of the space.
