At the time, the Vector-Trash style was becoming prevalent, and I was greatly inspired by it. I decided to change the production process, and came out with some excellent results. Thus began the "Trash" phase. The first piece, 'holaquepasa,' was a manipulated image of my friend Esteban Patiño. For his birthday, I decided to take the photo and see what I could do with it. When I showed him the piece, and showed the piece to others, I got a huge response, going on to sell poster prints of the pieces, except for the 'holaquepasa' piece, as I had created as a gift of and for my friend.
