Eyeshadow palette & Headphones

I decided to make an "eyeshadow palette" because I like makeup and its always been an interest of mine and one of the representative products for makeup is an eyeshadow palette. For the eyeshadow palette icon I started with two rectangles and I used the "Free Transform tool" to make it look as if it were open then I copied the top shape and used it to make the mirror. I then made the colors for the "eyeshadow" by making a diamond using two triangles and rotating one then using the shape builder. Then I chose colors and I aligned some diamonds to the others to make pattern then I made the "contours" by using 4 circles with different skin tones. To make it look like more defined you copied the shape and just moved it a little more up then you would only add the top using the shape builder and doing the same to the circles and then you would just made the shade of the top layer a little more darker. Next to make the sponge thing you use an eclipse and cut both ends using the shape builder then you would use another ellipse and add a rectangle on top to subtract the rest and make the shape of the top sponge thing and then you would reflect it to do the same thing and lastly you would add a rectangle to the back, sample the eyeshadow palette color and make it darker. Next you would use the Free transform tool to make the top go more out and the bottom to make more out and then in the middle I added a triangle on top and made it really thin and used different shades and added more and more triangles using a picture of a real palette as a reference. Then I added a background using the shape of a rectangle and using the ancor and pulling it in. Lastly I just made a shadow and designed my text and aligning it to the icon.
I decided to make headphones because i've always loved lo listen to music and listen to different genres and i'll always have a special love for music. For the headphones I started with the side of the headphones by using the pen tool and for the grey hold part of the headphones I made it using a rectangle and the free transform tool to form it with the side black part of the headphones. To make the head part of the headphones I used an ellipse and I copied the same ellipse but just brought it a little bit more down and I used a rectangle for the end and transformed it with copying it too for the other end and using the shape builder tool I deleted the extra part of the ellipse and the both ends with the rectangle. I added a "head cushion" by just adding a rounded rectangle by the the head part and just added the bottom of it using the shape builder tool and deleting the extra part of the top. Next I did a trapezoid using a rectangle and other rectangles at both ends to form the trapezoid also using the shape builder tool. I transformed it to the other side to have the same thing on the other side and sent it to the back to have it be part of the headphones. I added the rounded rectangle as the cushion for the ears, for the design on the trapezoid I used two thin rectangles, rotated them slightly, added color to it and copied another one for a nice design by just adding a dark purple color to it and did the same to the other side. I then used the "warped tool" to make the headphones have and arch to it. In the black part of the headphones I added two rectangles one white and the other one a dark blue for a design. Next I added a background using an elipse and added the color green sort of representing spotify and added a shadow to it. Lastly I added text using the same font from my first icon and just aligned it to the icon.
