Marathon Beekeeping: Mechatronic Arcade Game

2013 - ME 218a Introduction to Smart Product Design

Working with a team of 4, I helped to design and create an interactive arcade game using 2 FreescaleMX microprocessors. The game consisted of players running a race on stomp pads against each other. They then waved batons in front of a sensor to "breed bees." When enough bees were bred, they would sting the opposing player and cause their baton to vibrate and their race progress to lock until they pinched a sensor to remove the "bee stinger." We developed all the circuits, hardware, and source code to create the game. More info can be found here: https://sites.google.com/site/marathonbeekeeping/
