For this final design I wanted to do something with a nod to HR Giger, a big inspiration of mine. I used macro shots of insect thoraxes for the segmented textures, as well as wings. I initially set out to keep the final piece in black and white, but the iridescent nature of the insects was too lovely to pass up.
