If on a winter's night a traveler

«Progress in reading is preceded by an act that traverses the material solidity of the book to allow you access to its incorporeal substance»

BOOK AS OBJECT.
The result of the interpretation of the book If on a winter’s night a traveler,
written by Italo Calvino, highlight the recurrent idea of void, of absence and hidden.
What emerges it’s the act of reading, that gains a dominant role on the writing and
on the book itself. It is like overcome the material object of the book to reach the depth of the essence of reading. The book is transparent, printed on see-through paper with black ink, to erase its physicality and to get the contrast between the object and the text stronger. It is legible using the bookmark that comes together with the book.
