Background

APFitness is physique contest prep and online personal training company founded by Andrew Pardue. 
As a certified personal trainer, Andrew created APFitness to offer individualized science-based nutrition and exercise programming.

Working closely with Andrew, I had the pleasure to brand APFitness to communicate the company’s mission of integrity in a sophisticated manner, create the book layout design of his first E-Book, and create social media templates that tie the APFitness brand together cohesively.

The APFitness brand is communicated with two hand-picked shades of orange, which make up the basis of the logo
Alternate Gothic & Acumin Pro are the two font faces that are used in the APFitness brand. The AP Monogram is a modified version of Acumin Pro.
Andrew Pardue wrote the E-Book, Making Sense of Macros, where he breaks down the fundamentals of tracking macronutrients and why it all matters in the grand scheme of gaining muscle and losing body fat. Using the APFitness brand guidelines, I designed each page layout, making it simple for his readers to digest the content. The interactive E-Book also intuitively navigates to each chapter with hotspots.

APFitness shares a great deal of informative fitness content on their Instagram page. From client progress to article postings, I wanted to give the brand a cohesive feel on the Instagram platform that allowed Andrew to keep his followers engaged through various templates. 
I created a suite of templates that let Andrew post his frequently shared content to his Instagram followers. Each template gave him a robust layout to work with photography, text, and graphs.
