This piece was inspired by the unusual collected objects that can be found within a Wunderkammer (cabinet of curiosity) and was created from the form of a real Rhea egg, a bird which The clockwork is symbolic of our need as human beings to understand the workings of the unfamiliar in our world as part of our natural curiosity.
