Test Prints and Refining Models

This week we performed test prints of a part of our model so that we can check sizes and dimensions before printed the whole part. After testing the portions we printed, we made changes to the model. I specifically changed the sizes of the holes and the sizes of the fillets for the holes. I also changed the thickness of platform as well.
A classmate of mine had the same sizes for the holes as I did so we didn't print another part so it could save material. This way I could use the same model to check my dimensions. She had her platform 1 and 1/8 of an inch, and I checked how tall my model would be and it was about 2.25 inches tall which was too thick, so I changed the size to 2 inches. I had to change the size of the fillets because the sizes of the holes increased so the fillets were too big according to that.
My classmates holder was dominos and she printed half of the domino for a test print.
