Groove Cafe was looking to get a new monument sign, but unfortunately the logo they had just recently done was illegible from a few feet away. Being a new business that had really great atmosphere inside I was really excited about the chance to re-design their logo so that it matched with the feeling they had inside. It is a 45 mph area where the sign was going and the back of the building was facing the main street so this sign had to really grab your attention. We went through many different versions of the logo before we came to the one here. Designing the monument sign from there on out was a lot of fun and the owners were a joy to work with. A month or so after the sign went up I contacted them and asked how everything was going. They said that their business had been picking up dramatically and mostly due to the great signage. Favorite project of 2011.
