Robomouse Mechatronic Design Competition

The Robomouse Mechatronic Design Competition was part of a mechatronics course at California Polytechnic State University. Students grouped up into four person teams to design, build, and program semi-autonomous robots capable of completing laps around a table, picking up randomly placed racquetballs and depositing them in a corral. Teams competed for the best time. This entry took first place. I was primarily responsible for the programming, done in assembly language. The microcontroller used was a Motorola M68HC12B32.
