Title Sequence for the Book "100 Years of Solitude"

The sequence presents a family portrait of lonely individuals, changing with time. Each family member was photographed alone with the background of his own nature, and was weaven into the family portrait in the editing process, as a simulated "together" of a family unit.

The background of the portrait is a hybrid, compositing the nature each family member presents from his original solo shoot.

The family members are being revealed and hidden into the nature, coming back again as a memory, a temporal tune returning to its origin - the nature. In the world Garcia Marquez depicts, the nature is the only constant element in an all changing world, whereas the family is a unit in which different versions of the same people are born and desease into. Although the world appears as an open limitless entity, it turns out to be a closed cell, one cannot escape, condemning its lonely occupents to an eternel "together", a family prison cell rotating within itself for 100 years.
