Funded by the Australian Red Cross CEO's annual innovation fund, "A family reconnected" tells the true story of a Burundian family separated for years by civil war, and eventually reunited by the Red Cross tracing service. The site uses a chapterised approach to a single page scroll, posing questions to ask viewers to place themselves in the shoes of the family members, and includes a rich, interactive HTML 5 map sequence and embedded videos.
