In 2016, myself and three other designers worked with the Southern District Health Board.

The project was to design and produce a colouring booklet for children going into surgery. This book was intended for the seven main hospitals around Otago: Dunedin, Alexandra, Balcultha, Invercargill, Omarau, Queenstown and Ranfury. I was the designer in charge of the covers of the booklet. The Southern District Health Board wanted children to be able to relate to the book, therefore I came up with the idea to have multiple covers for the booklet, one for every different city and one main cover that could be used for any of the cities. I used bright colours to help the children feel more relaxed.
