This infographic was made as a school project and it represents the main places to visit in the historic part of my home town.

As a designer, my style is highly influenced by architectural presentations, so I wanted to make something that was close to this unique style.

Above you can see all of the layers that I used.

I was lucky enough to have a complete AutoCad plan of the city witch I imported to Illustrator and started working on the final style.

The base layer is the plan itself. On top of it there is a base texture resembling concrete, a common material used in architectural presentations.

Then I added color and texture to represent the different areas of the city such as the walls and the commercial streets.

Lastly, to make the presentation pop, I went layer by layer changing them to the correct order to apply a subtle shadow to the topography lines so that the relief of the terrain is more clear and to create this style that I love so much.
