This illustration was made to integrate a fictitious newspaper article about the Military Museum of Elvas.

The picture features the most iconic monument inside the museum, the São José fountain, in the background and two horses that represent the, at the time, project of creating an exceptionally great equestrianism (horse riding) school in the museum itself.
