Combining more than one logo into a cohesive symbol is always a challenge. The New England Historic Genealogical Society (NEHGS) wanted a logo created that represents the 400th anniversary of the landing of the Mayflower in Plymouth, Massachusetts combined with the NEHGS 175th anniversary which is also in 2020. NEHGS will have a number of events that involve both anniversaries and wanted a symbol that represented both. A number of logo variations were requested. The two shown below are what I think are the most successful.

Putting the two symbols inside of the zeros in 2020 is my favorite solution for the combined logos.
