Visual identity for USER H309

USER H309 is an Oslo based musician and producer, who uses sound as a tool to materialize the darker parts of the human psyche. His music is not limited to a particular genre, but two key identifiers are his distinct and intricate rhythm patterns and haunting ambient soundscapes. The visual identity aims to visualize these two identifiers.

Opusculum is a crude and pixelated typeface, inspired by typography used in LCD displays on synthesizers. The typeface was designed in a 16x10px grid, with no glyphs descending the baseline or acending the capline. It comes in two versions; Opusculum Regular and Opusculum Glitch. The typeface is named after USER H309's first album.
Imagery

The imagery consists of black and white abstract photos with a raw and distorted character, reflecting the music's atmosphere and melodies.
