Goldmine

The team behind Goldmine, an invaluable market research tool, contacted the Adobe@Adobe to help them brainstorm ideas for a site redesign. They had recently performed a survey of their users; the gathered responses suggested that modernization of the current Goldmine design was required to continue providing this valuable service to their clients. They wanted our help to enhance usability and bring it up to design standards, making the information easier to access. Our Senior Experience Architect, Jamie Godin, worked in close collaboration with the Goldmine team to achieve their goals.
Re-gilding the Goldmine. Jamie Godin, Senior Experience Architect has modernized Goldmine’s online market research tool. No pick-axe required. Using Adobe’s Experience Design, Photoshop, and Illustrator while drawing on Google’s Materials Design Language, Jamie helped the Goldmine team achieve their goals in making their website more usable, friendly, and attractive.
Gathering market research can be an exhausting uphill battle of searching, filtering, and sorting information. While Goldmine is an amazing resource for market research, we wanted to help make the data extraction process even better. During the course of the project, Jamie had an opportunity to learn and apply new design tools: Google Material Design Language to improve the usability of an existing product. This project allowed us to learn more about existing Adobe resources, internal teams, and to strengthen our ties and exposure across the company. “The Adobe@Adobe design team created an amazing design for what our new, reimagined Goldmine knowledge portal could look like, and worked tirelessly with our outside hosting vendor to make sure we could have a visually compelling site worthy of Adobe”.
