One of my hobbies in design is to create fun and interesting logo concepts. New Leaf is a fictitious charity that does various things for the environment and organizes special building projects that help the local community. I set out to make a logo with this prompt.

With the company mission statement  in mind, I selected a color palette that has a nature theme. I went with a geometric sapling with a curved leaf to balance out the sharp angles of the branch. While designing the logo, I made sure  that it would work with full color, one color, large and small.

After the logo was made, I moved on to creation and layout of the style guide. I wanted to have a unique cover, so I made a custom die-strike that adds depth to the logo on the front.
