The aim of the contest was to bring together ideas and identify solutions to provide the best and most coherent integration of the structures in the local urban commercial setting.
The main concept of our project was to develop the shop, office and apartments functions areas around a big "patio" and several small "patios", which will conect every floor; creating spaces, zenital lights and differents views, were the con cepts we achieved.
The facades were got thanks to several concept process from the "Mashrabiya", an element of traditional Arabic architecture in openable windows giving shade and protection from the hot summer sun while allowing the cool air from the street to flow through
