Ogaki Matsuri Festival Poster
This poster was designed to participate in the World Poster Exhibition of Ogaki Matsuri Festival Float Parade, a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage.
It was selected among 52 winning posters to tour around in Ogaki Poster Museum - Japan, City of Ogaki, City of Mino, and major sites in Gifu Prefecture; printed by silkscreen method individually on the Genuine Mino Paper.
It is now part of the permanent poster collection at the museum.

Ogaki City established Japan's first Museum of International Poster Art, and Ogaki Poster Museum has been in activity for 20 years.

Ogaki Festival honors the Hachiman Shrine. The float parade of Ogaki Matsuri Festival was registered as UNESCO’s intangible cultural heritages.
After 70 years, all floats - with windup dolls and kabuki performance by children - were assembled for the grand parade.

It was also one of 12 posters which were especially popular among 52 works selected by guests during the exhibition period at “Ogaki Festival World Poster Exhibition” which was held at the Japan International Poster Museum in Ogaki City.
