When I was a kid, I got a box of prismacolor pencils. I was so excited. only to find that they were ridiculously hard to use, would bloom, and be ruined. Not to mention I was awful at drawing. As time went on I couldn't help but think most color pencil pieces looked tacky and corny.
I have been looking for ways to add color to my pieces lately and have always felt more comfortable with drawing mediums. So I was watching some Marco Mazzoni videos and noticed he used color pencils much the same as I would a regular set of drawing pencils. I bought his preferred brand, Faber Castell Polychromos.
Here is what I have done so far. Some portraits of my Childhood He-man figures.
