Synopsis: Samuel's girlfriend, Gabriela, whom he's been together for almost eight years, seems more distant every day. His life is divided between german lessons and researches for his neighbour's self-help books. All of this in the company of his cat, Mishima.
Certain morning, something takes Samuel away from his boring existence: a postcard comes from Japan showing the image of a maneki-neko and the saying "Wabi-sabi". Days after, he receives in his home a second postcard with a photography of a temple and the same words from the previous one. Curious, Samuel decides to go to Japan to discover who is the sender of the misterious messages, and his trip ends up on a real journey of self discovery.
