Zardozi Pomegranate Hair Accessories
Zardozi is a type of metal embroidery
For this project, I worked with the highly skilled and talented artisans of Benaras who embroidered my illustrations using Zardozi. All of our collaboration happened remotely (through phonecalls, letters and photographs) and Kazim bhai, who was the leading artisan on this project worked with me like distance was not even an issue. Life changing experience for me and I'm forever grateful to him! :)
