Photonics engineering is the science of controlling light. So, Lightscapes were proud to design a solution for one of the few research facilities in the world that deals with all areas of photonics engineering.

Lightscapes designed a solution for the “Line of Light” which is the defining feature of the building. The result is a dynamic installation, where LED slats are interspersed along the clad surfaces. The LEDs are programmed to create gentle movement along the surface.

The solution was designed in close collaboration with Rørbæk & Møller architects and was completed autumn 2016.
