Wanderer's notes (Character Design)

When the witches realized that the magic was insufficient to stop the genocide of their guild at the hands of the Crusaders, they adopted other forms of defense. While witchcraft was enough to keep fervent villagers at bay in disagreement with people who live free from faith, a witch-hunt carried out by an army of holy knights was like wanting to stop a hurricane with a wooden shield.

Warrior witches are daughters and grandchildren descendants of the same who were killed while they managed to hide or escape. Both her weapons and her instruments of sorcery are collected from the inert bodies that remain once the bloody battle comes to an end.

With their knowledge of magic bequeathed from their progenitors and a style of struggle arising from the sole need for survival in a hostile world, these young warriors cry out for revenge against those responsible for the deaths of their families.
It's strange to see a warrior witch with a fellow traveler who is human. Due to the prejudices that surround them and to which they are in the focus of powerful enemies, one of the few companions to whom they can aspire is a familiar.

While a conventional witch opts for a more secretive and discreet animal such as the cat, a warrior witch requires another companion to give her more acceptable protection. A dog with his hunter skills enhanced by witchcraft are the typical familiar that accompany this class of witches.

The lack of agility generated by the amount of weight that their invokers carry is covered by the animals themselves, who are also trained to use weapons such as bows or knives with which they defend at all costs the lives of their companions.
