This project came about after my 11 year-old sister came to me one day to show off her muscle. "Look how strong I am", she said, and I remember capturing the moment and thinking, "This will definitely be a picture she'd like to look back on in the future". The purpose of this illustration is to make timeless this spectacular act of confidence that I saw that day. It's purpose is to also empower young girls and to showcase the radiance that comes with confidence. Through solely vector art, I wanted to send a message that was contemporary with its aesthetic and timeless with its reminiscent pose similar to that of Rosie the Riveter.
