Teenage Bigfoot
2016-2021, album covers and t-shirt/patch design
Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop
An album cover idea for Philadelphia-based pop-punk band Teenage Bigfoot, who draw influences from sci-fi and horror movies, and 90's hip-hop. Aside from the title, which was influenced by the underrated MC Hammer, the cover was influenced by the Gorillaz album "Demon Days" as well as 2pac's classic "All Eyez On Me."

The bigfoot image was drawn in Illustrator by mouse, and is available for viewing and download at TBF's bandcamp site: http://teenagebigfoot.bandcamp.com
In stark contrast, the t-shirt/backpatch design was a takeoff of Leftover Crack's album "Rock The 40 oz.," and features the infamous 1967 Patterson-Gimlin home movie supposedly capturing Bigfoot sauntering off into the woods. The photo was reduced to high-contrast, pure black and white, and a duplicate layer (converted to halftone) was laid over the black and white photo to achieve some interesting texture when printed on a shirt or patch.
In early 2021, I was once again tapped to come up with a new album artwork for the band, this time a quick Green Day covers EP for Bandcamp No-Fee Fridays. I managed to incorporate several Green Day references into the artwork, a really fun, quick project to stretch my legs a little.
