Flyer created to promote Big Bite Productions' play "The Lies We Live." The client had sourced the illustration and wanted to build the design around it. Given the retro/pop art quality of the original illustration, I added a halftone-like pattern to the background (it was originally yellow), dropped out the skin tones and recolored the lips to become a focal point. I also added the speech bubble and used a comic book-style font for both the title, subhead and relevant info.
