Student engagement is essential for the success of an assignment. Interactive PDFs allow the student to navigate through a website type document without the need for the student to leave the safety of the computer or tablet that the document is uploaded on.  An interactive PDF allows the instructor to provide more visual interests and stimulation for a student than a static PDF or a textbook. 

The learner is able to roll over the medical box to learn about six different medical advancements throughout the war.

 The PDF was created in Adobe illustrator. Each image and information panel are on separate layers within the program. This allowed more control over how the asset was created.
