My other school project proposed a new swimming pool to the II. district of Budapest. The site I have selected is a former shooting range, cut-out from a sloping piece of land. I placed the new building in to this existing hollow to minimise the necessary earthwork and to heal this wound of the hillside.
The underground structure, the columns of the pool area and the grandstand are made of reinforced concrete. The zigzag shaped long span steel roof has layers of green roof system to blend into the environment even more.
