***Update*** The Mile to peak ratio is off, elevation will most likely stay the same but the distance will definitely change. These are mountains! Not pimples.
The official topographical map(top map) for Taisu. To scale mileage, and elevation. Will be the cornerstone for many works to come plus the official panels. The elevation ranges allow for smaller and more detailed areas to have room to breathe with inch/foot by foot terrain. GPS coordinates also correct, based off of the ocean floor mapping, as if this small part didn't "sink" almost 80 million years ago. Real-time weather and atmosphere available. Along this line a subjective/concept map will be next along with a small photo of the island, or possibly a panoramic.
For those not familiar with that area: it is also known as the "Loyalty Island Triangle," one of the vile vortices and Hebrides Trench.
Story line wise: Taisu has managed to remain in the blind spot of humanities eye for millenniums. The details are laced with scientific and geological anomalies being dismissed. There was a spike in activity in that ocean after some movie franchise in the late 20th century, but even the bravest barely missed stumbling upon it. Either by sheer luck or design, the folk enjoy it. Between the isolation and lack of tourists the residents actually got a little bit spoiled with the peace and quite, not to mention the unique yet similar flora/fauna. Not many people left the island, and if they did they were determined to not return. Except for one of the twins who actually makes regular trips back to visit and bring supplies after becoming successful in the outside world. Either that, or he's the only one whose survived such trips.
