Urban Financial Services Coalition Chapter

A graduate of Florida International University’s MBA program, Antonio Junior founded Florida Conservation, Inc. located in Miami Springs, Florida. He also has leadership positions at other Miami-area companies, including Diversified Management International, Inc.; 7one; and Globaldox.com. In addition to his work with these businesses, Antonio Junior served as past president of the Miami Dade Urban Banker Association, which is an affiliate of the Urban Financial Services Coalition (UFSC). During his tenure, the chapter earned the highest honor award for community involvement and member development for two straight years.

Formerly known as the National Association of Urban Bankers, the UFSC changed its name in 2000 to better reflect its focus on the industry. Established in 1974, UFSC is a nonprofit professional trade organization. The UFSC has grown over the years to include more than 3,000 members with more than 50 national chapters.

Throughout the year, some chapters sponsor presentations to inform members about changes made within the banking industry. One of the events sponsored by UFSC and its Richmond, Virginia, chapter took place on April 11, 2017. Entitled “Leveraging FinTech,” the presentation was conducted by Tyler Mondres, who is a research associate with the American Bankers Association. Attendees learned about the future of the financial services industry.
